FishEUTrust

The FishEUTrust project is using advanced technology to create new, shorter seafood supply chains and maximize the efficiency of food distribution while reducing food waste. The project is also creating tailored interventions to increase consumer trust and the consumption of sustainable seafood products. This trust is built through the creation of tools to test for seafood quality, safety, and traceability. Smart control systems will monitor freshness and pathogenic and chemical safety. Co-creation Living Labs will be set up to demonstrate the efficacy of FishEUTrust’s solutions. By virtue of the value of data, the FishEUTrust team is conducting studies on the results of this project that will be collected in the FishEUTrust data platform.
